Stephanie Davis is a native of Wake County, North Carolina. She received her bachelor degree in Business from Campbell University. She graduated from the University of Dayton School of Law. Before entering into private practice she was a prosecutor in Wake County for six years. During her career as a prosecutor she worked in all areas of the District Attorney's office. She began in district court handling all types of traffic offenses and DWI's. She handled domestic violence cases, and worked in juvenile court. She prosecuted all level of felonies in superior court, and was one of three prosecutors that worked in the dangerous offenders task force unit.
Mrs. Davis is a Board Certified Specialist in State Criminal Law. To become a board certified specialist Ms. Davis had to be an active member in good standing with the North Carolina State Bar, devote her practice to the area of criminal law, attend continuing legal education seminars in the area of criminal law, be evaluated favorably by other lawyers and judges, pass a written examination in the area of criminal law, and have previously tried several serious felony cases to verdict.
Mrs. Davis uses her experience as a litigator to provide legal representation for clients that have been accused of misdemeanor or felony offenses. Not only in the area of criminal law, however, she used the same approach to represents clients' interest in custody, divorce, separation, and child support litigation.
